Suspected gunmen on Wednesday killed a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Mudasiru Baraka.
Baraka, shot at close range, died on the spot at his family compound in Oyo East Local Government Area.
Some PDP members are alleging that the rival political parties are responsible for the attack.
It was alleged that miscreants were sponsored to perpetrate the heinous act.
