Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, announced the successful conclusion of Hajj 1446, highlighting that the pilgrimage was completed without any major security, health, or service-related incidents.
According to Prince Mishaal, over 1.67 million pilgrims performed the Hajj this year. Of these, 1,506,576 came from outside the Kingdom, while 166,654 were domestic pilgrims, including Saudi citizens and residents. The total number included 877,841 male and 795,389 female pilgrims.
He expressed his gratitude and extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their leadership and dedication in ensuring the safety, comfort, and peace of the pilgrims.
Prince Mishaal also praised the cooperation of the pilgrims and their adherence to regulations, noting that their discipline significantly contributed to the smooth execution of the pilgrimage.
“The pilgrims performed their rites in safety and peace, thanks to the exceptional implementation of operational plans under the Kingdom’s leadership,” he said. “The Hajj season was free from any major incidents related to security, health, or services.”
He further noted that preparations for the next Hajj season will begin immediately, reaffirming the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment—by its leadership, government, and people—to serving the holy sites and their visitors with pride and dedication.
