Senator representing Kogi Central at the National Assembly, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has validated her membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging Nigerians and party faithful to do the same.

She made this known via her verified social media platforms.

The lawmaker said she had completed the validation process through the party’s electronic registration portal.

She described the PDP as Nigeria’s strongest opposition platform, stressing the need for active participation by members nationwide to deepen democratic engagement and promote inclusiveness.

She wrote, “The domain for PDP e-registration is now secure. I have validated my membership, do yours too. Register now. It is simple and easy.”

Senator Natasha’s action comes amid ongoing efforts by the PDP leadership to digitise its membership database and boost grassroots participation ahead of the next general election.

Meanwhile, Natasha has debunked a viral video circulating on social media which falsely portrays her promoting a fraudulent investment scheme.

The lawmaker issued a public warning on Sunday, describing the video as manipulated and misleading content created by fraudsters to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

Akpoti-Uduaghan urged Nigerians to disregard the video and avoid engaging with any investment platform linked to the content.

In a statement shared on her official social media handle, the senator explained that the viral clip was doctored from a previous television interview she granted to journalist Seun Okinbaloye.

According to her, criminals altered the footage from the interview and manipulated it to make it appear as though she was endorsing a fraudulent investment platform.
