If Atiku Wish Tinubu ‘ll Sack Wike as FCT Minister – Bwala

The spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election, Daniel Bwala, has claimed that Wike will be sacked if Atiku asks Tinubu to do so.

Bwala made the claim on Tuesday evening during an appearance on Arise Television.

Bwala said and I quote: “If Atiku Abubakar calls President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sack Nyesom Wike as the FCT minister, before they will finish the call, Wike will be sacked,” END QUOTE

He was responding to a question about how the PDP feels given that Wike, a prominent member of the party, is openly working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, amid the recent loss at the presidential election tribunal.

Bwala responded by suggesting that the tribunal’s judgment had left many unanswered questions.

He said residents of the FCT have demanded separate governance and representation since the tribunal’s ruling recognised the FCT as a distinct entity, and have sought a court order to prevent the FCT minister from continuing to represent himself as such.

Bwala said that the PDP has survived many challenges in the past and will survive this one as well.

He also said that Wike have violated the rules of the party and will be sacked at the right moment
