The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity and renewed hope as the nation continues its journey toward sustainable growth and development.

This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Mr. Tunde Moshood, to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

Keyamo, while extending warm felicitations to citizens, expressed optimism that the country would soon begin to witness better days despite its present challenges.

“I extend warm felicitations to Nigerians on the occasion of our 65th Independence Anniversary. I urge all citizens to embrace a spirit of renewed hope and unity as the country continues on its path of growth.

I acknowledge the challenges Nigeria has faced over the years, but the country remains on a steady march toward greatness. This year’s anniversary also marks 26 years of uninterrupted democratic governance—a milestone that reflects the resilience and determination of the Nigerian people,” he said.

The minister noted that the current administration had taken bold economic decisions aimed at repositioning the nation for long-term progress.

“As we celebrate our country’s achievements and the resilience of our people, I urge everyone to join hands in building a brighter future for our beloved nation. I strongly believe that Nigeria’s progress will continue to soar, anchored on the courage and determination of its people and leadership,” Keyamo added.
