The commission stressed that it has not yet released the official timetable for the 2027 elections, and therefore, no party is permitted to begin public campaigning or political advertisements. According to Section 94(1) of the Act, electioneering campaigns are only allowed to commence 150 days before the date of the election and must end 24 hours prior to voting.
