Iran Denies Trying to Assassinate Trump

Iran has denied any links with the attempted assassination of former United States, US, President, Donald Trump.

The Iranian Mission to the United Nations said the allegations of attempting to assassinate Trump was “unsubstantiated and malicious.”

Following the assasination attempt on the presidential candidate, Iran was accused of trying to kill Trump in reaction to the assassination of General Soleimani.

However, Iran’s Mission to the UN described Trump as a criminal who will be punished legally.

The mission also said the shooter identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, had no ties to its country
