Israel has pulled most of its forces from southern Lebanon, except for five locations, according to Lebanon’s state news agency. However, Israeli officials stated that some troops would remain in Lebanon to protect Israel’s northern communities.

In response, Lebanese authorities insisted on a full withdrawal, warning that any continued Israeli presence, even in small areas, would be considered an occupation.

This partial pullout comes amid heightened regional tensions, with both countries closely watching the situation along their shared border.
