Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Hashimu Dungurawa, reacting to the report of the alleged suspension of the National Leader of the party, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Dungurawa told journalists on Tuesday that Kwankwaso has not been suspended from the party, nothing that, “right now, he is attending a well-represented NEC meeting of the party in Abuja.”
He insisted that Kwankwaso is held in high esteem within the NNPP and is recognised as a legitimate leader, making the allegations of suspension false and damaging to his reputation.
He explained that Kwankwaso is the leader of the party and for somebody to come out with fake news of his suspension is tantamount to dragging his name and hard-earned reputation into the mud.
He also stated that he was in Abuja where the party executive held a meeting and there was nothing like that.
