The Southern Kaduna Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) , Engr. Mike Ayuba Auta has decried the unabated attacks and killings in southern Kaduna.
He therefore called for the establishment of an indigenous security outfit in the region as a measure to end the killings.
Addressing a world press conference in Kafanchan, the headquarters of southern Kaduna at the weekend, the Senatorial hopeful said many lives have been lost to the unwarranted attacks.
While calling on president Muhammadu Buhari and security chiefs to deploy more security personnels to the area, he promised to prioritise the safety of lives and properties of people if he gets elected as their representative in the Red chambers.
]Auta alleged that the recent attacks in southern Kaduna is an attempt to disenfranchise his people in the forthcoming general elections.
He added that the government has not done enough to secure the lives and properties of their people, whom they swore to protect.
He called on International communities, Human right watch group, ICC, and other reputable entities to lend their voices to the government and come to the aid of the southern Kaduna people.
