The Lagos State government has allocated apartments to families who were displaced by the construction of the Agege pen cinema bridge.
The fourteen affected families were given keys to the apartments allocated to them today by Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU.
Correspondent TOLU BAMIDELE reports that the allocation to the beneficiaries took place during the inauguration of the 52 units of Greater Lagos LBIC Apartment in Ogba Ijaye area of Agege.
The Governor who said the gesture was to alleviate the plight of the displaced families stated that his administration embarked on the construction of various housing units across the state to reduce the housing deficits.
