The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially appointed Max Air as the designated airline to airlift Jigawa State pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj.
Confirming the decision, the **Director General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Ahmed Labbo, assured intending pilgrims of a smooth and comfortable journey, with flights set to commence in May 2025.
Labbo, speaking through the Board’s public Relations Officer, Habibu Babura, emphasized that all preparations are on track, including the provision of travel bags and uniforms, which are now ready for collection.
He attributed Max Air’s selection to NAHCON’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and comfort, adding that the airline’s strong track record in airlifting pilgrims was a key factor.
