On Sunday, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, OPHD, with the local vigilante’s joint efforts, foiled a bandits’ attack at Bula village of Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to eyewitnesses, the armed bandits stormed the community in large numbers shooting sporadically in the wee hours of Sunday.
Brigadier General S Ahmed, commander of 1 Brigade Nigerian Army, Gusau, disclosed that the troops of the OPHD blocked the exit route of the bandits, denied them freedom of action, and rescued two women and a baby abducted from the village.
