A Lagos Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, has freed musician Naira Marley and three others—Sam Larry, Primeboy,
and Mohbad’s former manager—of any charges related to the death of singer Mohbad. Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje acted on legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), stating they had no case to answer. However, the DPP will prosecute nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts under Lagos State law.
