Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Nassarawa State, David Ombugadu, has promised a free health insurance scheme for indigent people of the state if he is elected into office in 2023.
The Governorship aspirant disclosed this during the party’s campaign in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state today.
He noted that Health is wealth and therefore residents of the state especially the indigent ones deserve better health care.
He revealed further that widows, orphans and other vulnerable people in the state will be the first considered in the health insurance scheme.
The PDP candidate also promised to construct the road linking Doma – Nasarawa LGAs to the Federal Capital Territory if elected.
Speaking at the event, former Minister of Information and the Director-General of the state PDP campaign, Labaran Maku, called on residents of the state to vote for all candidates of the PDP in the coming elections.
He further urged the people to vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, saying that he is a detribalised Nigerian, well experienced, tested and trusted in various positions.
