The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC has charged Broadcasting media comprising Radio and television against the dissemination of Fake news and information.
This was as the new NBC Zonal director for Lagos state, Mr Raphael Akpan explained that there is no reward for breaking the news therefore broadcasters must ensure the circulation of factual news stories as opposed to propaganda.
He lauded his predecessor, the ex-NBA Zonal director Vincent Ogwumike and assured of NBC’s fairness and justice while urging broadcasters to comply with the provisions of the National broadcasting code.
