The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has clarified that, unlike Ibom Air, budget carrier ValueJet chose not to press charges against Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) following an alleged in-flight incident.

NCAA spokesperson Michael Achimugu explained that while both incidents involved allegations of non-compliance with cabin crew instructions, the airlines handled the matters differently — with Ibom Air opting for legal action, and ValueJet settling the case internally.

Achimugu stressed that all passengers are bound by aviation safety laws, and cabin crew instructions must be obeyed at all times to ensure flight safety.
