NCPC boss to Nigerians: Our tomorrow will always be better than yesterday

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja on behalf of the NCPC Board and staff, Adegbite also extended warm felicitations to President Bola Tinubu, describing 65 years of nationhood as a milestone worth celebrating.

The clergyman expressed optimism that Nigeria’s best days lie ahead.

“Nigeria will never know a better yesterday; the best is yet to come. There is no nation without challenges, but with collective will, the narrative will change,” he said.

Adegbite reiterated that Nigeria would continue to command respect among nations and maintained that the country was firmly on the path to greatness. He called on Nigerians at home and abroad to constantly speak positively about the country, declaring that no forces of darkness would destabilise the nation.

He also urged citizens to support President Tinubu’s administration, noting that the dividends of democracy were already being felt through the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Felicitating with the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu—who shares the same birth year as Nigeria—Adegbite described her as “Mother of the Nation,” adding that the coincidence was providential.

“I call on Nigeria to arise and shine, for her time has come,” Adegbite prayed.
