The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has intercepted consignments of Tramadol, Rohypnol, Ecstasy and Cannabis concealed in winter jackets and bottles of body cream in Lagos.
This was contained in a statement by the NDLEA Director, Media and Advocacy, Mr Femi Babafemi, today in Abuja.
Babafemi said the drugs were seized at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Friday in Lagos.
He said that the psychoactive substances were recovered at the new terminal of the airport.
This, he said, followed the arrest of a passenger, who was travelling on a via Doha to Oman in the Middle East.
He further revealed that a thorough search of the suspect’s two black bags led to the discovery of 4.80 kilograms of cannabis.
