Mr. Sunday Asuku, National Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, and collective growth as the nation celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary.
Asuku made the appeal on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing journalists during a rally organized by the movement to commemorate the occasion.
He urged citizens to shun corruption, banditry, and insecurity, stressing that Nigeria’s progress and global standing could only be achieved through collective effort and patriotism.
According to him, the success of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which outlines a roadmap for development, stability, and prosperity, depends on nationwide support and commitment.
“We want to enjoin all Nigerians to continue to promote unity, peace, growth, and development. Without these, Nigeria cannot be great. But if we are united, if we shun corruption, banditry, and insecurity, then Nigeria will indeed be great again.
On this 65th anniversary of our independence, we urge Nigerians to come together as one, to forge ahead, and to chart a way forward. Let us support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, for only then can we achieve the Nigeria of our dreams,” he said.
Asuku also paid tribute to Nigeria’s fallen heroes, independence champions, and past leaders who, since 1960, have contributed to the nation’s growth and development.
