In a significant diplomatic engagement, the President of Nigeria met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. The meeting emphasized advancing economic ties, fostering innovation, and exploring new avenues for collaboration to benefit both countries.

The UAE has consistently proven to be a strategic partner for Nigeria, and this high-level discussion reaffirmed a mutual commitment to promoting sustainable development, enhancing trade and investments, and contributing to regional stability and prosperity.

The meeting coincided with the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), where the Nigerian President praised the UAE’s dedication to global sustainability and congratulated them on the success of this year’s ADSW and the Zayed Sustainability Prize.

The Nigerian leader expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria-UAE relations, emphasizing a shared vision of cooperation, mutual respect, and progress. This partnership, he stated, would not only strengthen ties between the two nations but also contribute positively to the global community.

“Shukran Jazeelan Ya Sahib Al-Samou Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” the President concluded, highlighting his appreciation for the UAE’s hospitality and collaboration.
