The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has announced its plan to drill for crude oil in Nasarawa State beginning on March 21, 2023.
NNPC Limited’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, announced this during his meeting with Governor Abdullahi Sule in Lafia earlier on today.
According to him, exploratory activities found that there is a significant amount of oil in the state.
