Obi noted that while politicians push for bigger pay, essential workers such as police officers and civil servants remain grossly underpaid despite carrying heavier burdens.
He urged the government to redirect resources toward improving welfare for struggling Nigerians rather than inflating the earnings of already privileged office holders.
