The All Progressives Congress, APC government’s last 60 days in office have been described as reigns of darkness and deeper darkness.
This was contained in a statement on Sunday by the Director General, Obi-Datti Campaign Organization, Balogun Akin Osuntokun.
Osuntokun describing the 60 days of President Bola Tinubu and APC government, said the administration’s removing oil subsidies and unification of exchange rates was unplanned and ill-thought.
According to him, it was the Government’s uncoordinated and confusing policy announcements, caused the exponential increase in the prices of all goods and services especially food and other basic consumables.
He explained that the policy caused the declined in National Savings Rate and erosion of disposable incomes of Nigerians, and increased poverty, insecurity, unimaginable extravagance and exponential increase in the cost and waste of governance which exemplified with interminable appointments of litany of his foot soldiers.
According to him, there is a clear lack of grasp of the undergirding ethos of good governance predicated on short, medium, and long-term stimulus strategies and policies in Tinubu’s administration
