OCHA Brigade Shuts Down Motel Harboring Sex Workers/ Vop

In a decisive crackdown, the Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA Brigade) enforcement team has shut down Happiness Guest House in Amawbia, arresting no fewer than ten suspected sex workers. The operation was launched following intelligence reports linking the establishment to a series of illegal activities.

According to the reports, the motel served as a hub for drug trafficking, underage prostitution, and a hideout for armed robbers, among other criminal activities.

Chief Celestine Anere, Managing Director and Secretary-General of the OCHA Brigade, condemned the illicit operations, pledging that those behind them would be arrested and prosecuted. “We will ensure that this serves as a strong warning to others engaging in similar illegal acts across the state,” he asserted.

The enforcement team emphasized its commitment to purging Anambra State of criminal elements and restoring order.
