Ogun LP Chieftain Ports to PDP, Claims Party Well Placed for 2027

The Labour Party’s, LP, candidate for the 2023 Abeokuta South Federal Constituency election, Tolulope Phillips, has officially registered as a member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogun State.

Phillips who registered on Tuesday at Ward 7, Ijaye in Abeokuta South Local Government had earlier joined the major opposition party in the state shortly after the last election.

Speaking with newsmen, Phillips said he is convinced that PDP is well placed to rule Ogun State and Nigeria come 2027.

He added that there is a need to rescue Ogun and Nigeria from “clueless leadership who are impoverishing Nigerians on a daily basis with needless and hardship policies.”
