Spokesman for the President-elect Bola Tinubu has said his principal will not govern the country from abroad.
While speaking on a TV program, the former managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) spoke on what the president-elect would most likely do in his first 10 days in office.
Responding to some Nigerians who are speculating that Tinubu may rule from London like President Muhammadu Buhari at a certain time, Onanuga said that is unlikely to happen.
He explained that the president-elect’s recent travel was to avoid pressure and distraction.
On whether the president-elect would settle fully in Nigeria and face the challenges ahead, he responded in the affirmative, saying although we live in a global village, the president-elect could always join meetings via online platforms.
At this moment, both Tinubu and Buhari are currently in Europe
