Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the appointment of Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan as his Chief Press Secretary along with four other appointments.
A statement by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mojuwa Olusegun, said the appointments would take effect immediately.
The appointment comes hours after he was sworn in as the governor of Ondo State following the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday morning after a protracted illness.
The governor also appointed a Special Assistant on Political Matters, a Special Assistant on New Media, an SA on Photography and a Special Assistant on Domestic and Government House.
This is coming after the Press Secretary to late Governor Akeredolu and Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties, resigned their appointments.
The duo’s resignations on Wednesday come hours after the death of Governor Akeredolu in Germany.
