ONUACHU VOWS TO HELP SOUTHAMPTON ESCAPE RELEGATION

Paul Onuachu is determined to help Southampton maintain their Premier League status at the end of the season.

Onuachu linked up with the Saints from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk on deadline day.

The 28-year-old made his debut in the 3-0 defeat at Brentford at the weekend.

The Nigeria international replaced Mohamed Elyounoussi after the break and made a positive impact in the game despite his side’s defeat.

Southampton currently occupies the bottom spot on the table and faces a tough fight to avoid relegation but Onuachu insists he can help the South Coast club move up on the log.

Nathan Jones’ side will host Wolverhampton Wanders in their next league game on Saturday.
