Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, yesterday, alleged there were plans to impeach him, if the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loses in the Edo State House of Assembly polls to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The governor, who lost his ward, council and senatorial district to Labour Party (LP), accused former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, of being behind his travail at the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.

Speaking ahead of the state House of Assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, Obaseki, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Media Projects, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, said Edo people would rise in his defence and foil Oshiomhole’s plan for impeachment
