Oshiomhole Says Workers’ Minimum Wage in Nigeria is Criminal

The Senator representing Edo North district in the 10th Senate, Adams Oshiomhole, has described Nigeria’s N30,000 monthly minimum wage as a “criminal wage”, saying he pays his cleaner with only primary school education N60,000.

Oshiomhole said this on Sunday night while featuring on a TV’s programme.

Speaking further, the former president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) said the value of the minimum wage i snothing to write home about as it can’t feed a family with four children comfortably.

The former Edo State governor is a senator in the ruling All Progressives Congress
