PDP Vows to Sanction Members Backing Tinubu — Chieftain Warns

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned that it will sanction members endorsing President Bola Tinubu or aligning with other political camps ahead of 2027.

A party chieftain, reacting to recent endorsements from within the PDP, described such actions as clear anti-party behavior that violates the PDP constitution. He stressed that members must remain loyal to the party or face disciplinary measures.

The PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC) has also reiterated its commitment to enforcing party discipline, citing relevant constitutional provisions to justify possible suspensions or expulsions.

Nyesom Wike openly pledging support for Tinubu despite being a PDP stakeholder.
