Police avert suicide in Kano

The Kano State Police Command successfully intervened to save an individual from an attempted suicide in the state. According to police sources, officers acted swiftly after receiving a distress call, reaching the scene just in time to prevent a tragedy.

Ibrahim, an indigene of Adamawa state was on a suicide mission, over his inability to see a Tik-toker called Abdul BK. The young man  had threatened to jump down and commit suicide


The person has been taken into custody for medical evaluation and counselling, and authorities have urged the public to prioritise mental health and seek help when needed. The command reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and encouraged residents to remain vigilant and support one another.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Adamu Bakori,  commended the professionalism and quick response of the combined teams of  security officers, who successfully averted the potential tragedy.
