Kogi State governor Usman Ododo today visited his predecessor, Yahaya Bello, following a heavy security crackdown on his Abuja residence by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
Governor Ododo and some security personnel as well as young supporters showed up at Bello’s house around 2:30 pm to voice their opposition to the invasion of Bello’s house.
In a video shared on social media, the operatives blocked the roads leading in and out of the street, causing vehicular traffic around the area.
Policemen attached to the Kogi State governor today prevented the personnel of the EFCC from arresting former Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello.
EFCC sources told journalists that policemen attached to Governor Ododo prevented the EFCC personnel from arresting the former governor.
