The Plateau State Police Command has detained one of its officers for shooting a young man over political argument.
The officer whose name was given as Solomon Damak is being detained at a police facility in Jos while his orderly room trial will commence today.
The victim, identified as Nyommena Badapba, a resident of Tudun Wada community, was shot in his shoulder on Sunday during an argument with the policeman
