In a blistering attack on Nigeria’s fight against corruption, Barrister Darlington has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of pampering corrupt politicians while aggressively pursuing lesser offenders.
“Politicians are the real thieves, yet the EFCC treats them like VIPs!” Darlington declared, criticizing the selective justice system that seems to shield the powerful while coming down hard on ordinary citizens.
His remarks have reignited debates over the credibility of Nigeria’s anti-corruption efforts, with many questioning whether the EFCC is truly committed to justice or merely playing to political interests.
