In yet another dramatic outburst, controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly slammed social media activist Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan (VDM), for attempting to drag him into a diss track against gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
VDM recently announced plans to release a song titled *Body of Christ* in response to Chinwo’s staggering ₦1.125 billion defamation lawsuit against him. The lawsuit stems from allegations that Chinwo misappropriated funds from her shows without remitting them to her former record label.
However, Portable wasted no time in distancing himself from the controversy, taking to Instagram on Saturday to lash out at VDM. He warned the commentator to stop mentioning his name, accusing him of tarnishing people’s reputations, businesses, and even marriages.
In a fiery rant, Portable also questioned VDM’s financial status, sarcastically asking whether he could afford the ₦100 million price tag for a feature on the track.
“You are already overstepping your boundaries, VDM or whatever you are called. You are overstepping,” Portable fumed.
The clash has now sparked debates on social media, with fans divided over who is in the right. As the drama unfolds, one thing remains certain—Portable is once again at the center of controversy.
