President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of retired Major-General Barry Tariye Ndiomu as interim administrator of the Amnesty Programme.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, in a statement yesterday, noted that Ndiomu took over from Colonel MD Dikio whose appointment was renewed last year for another one-year tenure.
Femi Adesina disclosed that Ndiomu was commissioned Second Lieutenant in 1983 and held several command and staff appointments in the course of his successful military career before his retirement in December 2017.
