His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, Archbishop of Onitsha, paid a pastoral visit to Holy Trinity Parish, Akili-Ogidi. The visit was marked by significant spiritual and developmental milestones within the parish community.
During the visit, Archbishop Okeke blessed the newly built rectory, a testament to the faith and dedication of the parishioners in providing a befitting residence for their priest. He also blessed the newly constructed Chapel of Adoration and the Grotto of Our Lady, symbols of deepened devotion and commitment to the faith.
A key highlight of the visit was the administration of the Sacrament of Confirmation to a number of candidates, strengthening them in their faith and deepening their commitment to the Church. The Archbishop commended the parishioners for their efforts and encouraged them to continue in their faith journey.
In his prayers, Archbishop Okeke invoked God’s blessings upon the faithful, asking for an increase in their faith and for divine favor in all their good and noble endeavors. He prayed that God would answer their prayers beyond their expectations, through Christ our Lord.
