RESIDENT DOCTORS GIVE FG TWO-WEEK ULTIMATUM OVER WELFARE DEMANDS

Meanwhile, The two-week ultimatum issued by the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors to the Federal and state governments ends today the 5th of September 2022.

VOP News gathered that The association has,  scheduled its extraordinary National Executive Council meeting for Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Jos, Plateau State, to deliberate on the ultimatum.

You will recall, that  resident doctors had on July 30, 2022, issued a two-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to implement all the agreements it had with the association or risk an indefinite strike.

The National Association of Resident Doctors demand includes the payment of the newly-reviewed Medical Residency Training Fund; the immediate implementation and payment of the new hazard allowance and arrears, and several others.
