The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday, declaring that his government would go after those involved in the arson and wanton destruction of public properties in the Sagamu area of the state.
The governor visited Sagamu for an on-the-spot assessment of buildings and property affected by the unrest, twenty-four hours after the incident which affected eight banks, the council secretariat and others.
Some irate youths had invaded Akarigbo road where some banks were located and set some of them ablaze while others were damaged and looted in protest over the lingering issue of naira shortage.
