Governor Sanwo-Olu has officially launched the Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem as part of activities leading up to the commemoration of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day on January 15, 2023.
At the event at the Lagos House Ikeja, Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged and commended the high level of professionalism displayed by the Military, veterans and other stakeholders, in keeping the Country safe.
The Governor who stated that their service is needed more now as the yuletide approaches, urged them to ensure a crime free environment and also advised Lagosians to be security conscious.
The newly sworn-in Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Lagos State Chapter, Hakeem Wolimoh thanked the Governor for his relentless support to the legion.
He pledged that they would continue to complement existing security architecture to keep Lagos safe and secure.
