Yesterday, Monday, February 3rd, 2025, the residents of Nnewi South conducted their daily activities without fear of insecurity, in alignment with Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo’s efforts to ensure safety in Anambra State.
Security operatives were strategically stationed in key locations throughout the local government, with additional patrols to reassure the community of their safety.
The areas where security presence was noted include Eke Amichi, Chisco Park Amichi, Orie Utuh, Nkwo Ezinifite, Afor Unubi, Orie Azigbo, Orie Ekwulumili, Afor Ukpor, Centre Osumenyi, Eke Osumenyi, High Jones, and Afor Ukpor, as well as the Ebenator and Akwaihedi markets.
