The Super Eagles forward responded in style after facing criticism from Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who had called him out for missing a penalty in the club’s 3-1 home defeat to Club Brugge in the Champions League play-off second leg on Tuesday.
Lookman put aside any concerns over his relationship with the coach and continued his excellent form since returning from injury, reaffirming his importance to Atalanta’s attack.
