No fewer than 250 companies from within and outside Nigeria are expected to attend the 44th edition of the Kano International Trade Fair scheduled to hold between 25th November to 9th December, 2023.
The President, Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture, Alhaji Garba Imam made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on Tuesday on the level of preparations so far made for hosting the event.
He said the foreign companies are expected from other countries including Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Chad, Cameroun and Niger Republic.
According to him, no fewer than 2.5 million visitors are also expected to attend the trade fair which is expected to be declared open by Governor Abba Yusuf.
He noted that the chamber had made adequate provision of facilities, as well as adequate security to safeguard lives and properties of participants and visitors to the Trade Fair.
The theme of the Trade Fair is Economic Diversification, Inclusive Growth And Sustainable Development.
