Sheikh Gumi Advocates for Non-kinetic Approach to Ending Insecurity in Nigeria

The controversial Islamic cleric Sheikh Gumi has saID the Federal Government’s approach to insecurity and banditry in the country could be better.

He advocated for a non-kinetic approach to dealing with insecurity saying; rather than killing bandits they should be negotiated with, provided for and educated.

You will recall that President Tinubu had frowned against the payment of ransom to bandits and terrorists saying his administration would neither negotiate with bandits nor pay any ransom.

Earlier today in an exclusive interview with our morning Show host Cordelia Okpei, she spoke with Sheikh Ahmad Gumi who responded to questions on the causes and solution to insecurity in the country.
