Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has reiterated the need for creative funding approaches to address infrastructure challenges in the state. The road project, hailed as a significant achievement, aligns with the state government’s Public-Private-Community Partnership (PPCP) initiative. Soludo emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among the government, private sector, and communities to tackle developmental issues.

“An estimated 99% of the funds needed to transform Anambra lie in private hands,” Soludo stated. “This road is not merely an infrastructure project but a testament to what unity and shared responsibility can achieve. By adopting the PPCP model, we can pool resources and expertise for the greater good.”

The governor urged citizens and stakeholders to embrace the PPCP framework, highlighting its potential to fast-track infrastructure development while ensuring community involvement.

Chief Bryan Ofoegbu, the project’s sponsor, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, noting that the road would significantly enhance mobility and spur economic activities in the area.

Community leaders and residents gathered to celebrate the milestone, praising the project for its positive impact on connectivity and local development. The newly commissioned road is expected to ease transportation challenges and foster economic growth in Ozubulu and surrounding areas.
