Speed Darlington sends shocking message to Tinubu — see what he’s asking for Watch Video

Controversial Nigerian rapper and internet sensation, Speed Darlington, has once again set social media buzzing after releasing a video where he made a direct appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the trending clip, the U.S.-based entertainer, popularly known as “Akpi,” sent a bold and unusual request to the president, sparking mixed reactions online.

Speed Darlington, who is well-known for his outspoken personality and viral rants, urged Tinubu to focus more on the welfare of ordinary Nigerians, insisting that the masses are bearing the brunt of the country’s harsh economic reality. He particularly called on the president to take urgent action that will reduce the high cost of living and create opportunities for young people to thrive.

The rapper, in his typical comic style, laced his message with humor and sarcasm, but many Nigerians on social media said they resonated with his words, describing them as “the bitter truth wrapped in jokes.” Others, however, dismissed it as another publicity stunt.

This is not the first time Speed Darlington has directly addressed top politicians in Nigeria. In the past, he has criticized leaders over issues ranging from poor infrastructure to unemployment, often blending entertainment with social commentary.

With his latest message to Tinubu, Akpi has once again positioned himself at the center of online conversations, leaving Nigerians debating whether his call should be taken as mere comedy or a serious reflection of public frustration.
