The President of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, Pastor Samuel Oladele, has appealed to Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the ongoing economic reforms.
Oladele made the appeal while addressing journalists on Wednesday during the 2025 CAC Pastors’ Conference in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.
He urged citizens to endure the current hardship and support the government’s efforts, assuring them that “there is light at the end of the tunnel.” According to him, despite the challenges, there is hope for a brighter and more prosperous future under the present administration.
“Leadership is a difficult task, and the President is doing his best to alleviate the nation’s economic difficulties. Nigerians only need to persevere a little longer,” Oladele said.
The CAC leader also advised government at all levels to implement policies that would ease hardship and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
Addressing Christians, Oladele stressed the need for believers to live exemplary lives, noting that positive change does not solely depend on political leadership.
“You don’t need to be in government or a politician to bring the needed change. If those who attend churches live according to the truth and preachers lead by example, there will be transformation,” he said.
Oladele further urged pastors to embody integrity, loyalty, and accountability, adding that “a leader without a good successor is a failure.”
