Panic engulfed Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday evening after terrorists launched a violent attack, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers, and several others.
Isapa lies close to Eruku — another community recently hit by a similar abduction incident.
According to reports, the attack occurred around 6pm on November 24, 2025, when between 20 and 30 armed bandits stormed the town, moving with a herd of cattle and shooting sporadically. During the assault, an elderly woman was struck by a stray bullet.
A community leader confirmed that 11 people were taken, including seven members of one family. Those abducted include a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and several young children.
The victims have been identified as:
Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (housewife), Fatima Yusufu (housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.
Residents said the attackers moved through sections of the town, firing at random and leaving bullet holes in doors and walls. Expended AK-47 shells were later recovered across the area after the terrorists fled.

The invasion comes shortly after another deadly attack in nearby Eruku, where terrorists stormed a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch during a meeting. Three worshippers were shot dead, and several others — including the pastor — were abducted.
Sources told SaharaReporters that the assailants opened fire immediately upon entering the church, forcing worshippers to flee for safety. The gunmen then gathered some members at gunpoint and marched them into the bush through escape routes connecting Eruku to other communities.
Residents of both towns remain in fear as security authorities continue efforts to locate the victims and restore calm.
